Pear Tree Cabin is an ideal spot for a couples' retreat! Its short stroll to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shops makes it super convenient for enjoying all the local attractions without needing to drive.
You check in using a key box code.
I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive! The beautiful castle and gardens is a gentle stroll along Tankerton Slopes and the harbour with freshly caught seafood is just a few minutes further.
You can take boat tours on the Greta to see the World War II forts and glimpse the seals bathing.
The train station is only a 12 minute walk so is easily commutable from London plus there are regular buses to nearby Herne Bay and Canterbury. You have access to all areas in the property. Experience hotel-style luxury in a private cabin retreat—complete with spacious outdoor areas and total seclusion.

The cabin features a super-comfy king-size bed and a Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
In the living area, a plush velvet sofa bed is surrounded by soft cushions, throws, and blankets—ideal for snuggling up on cooler evenings.
You'll find a fridge (with freezer compartment), kettle, toaster, and all the crockery and cutlery you need to enjoy a peaceful morning tea or coffee on the private front patio.
The stylish, modern bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower—perfect for rinsing off the sea salt after a morning swim—alongside a sleek basin and toilet. Outside, is your own private garden with a bistro table and chairs and a super comfy egg chair for 2.
From here you have the best seat in the house to enjoy (with a g&t) from an elevated position, Whitstable’s famous sunsets! There is free street parking on Northwood Road and the surrounding roads. You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable. There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury.
You will find bus stops along Tankerton Road etc. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London.
Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs.
The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover. No smoking. No Pets. Please keep a noise to a minimum after 10pm to respect the neighbours. Please note: For safety reasons, we can't accommodate young children staying at the property due to steep steps in the garden.
There is a travel cot for a newborn and a single futon for a child.

A lovely little place to stay. Good points: well furnished; great outdoor space with sun for most of the day, including sunsets; good range of outdoor furniture; great bathroom and shower; comfy bed.
