A quiet waterside retreat on the Shannon–Erne Blueway, designed for slow stays, river views, and complete switch-off. Reimagined from a former artist’s studio, this is a peaceful open-plan escape designed for two. A king-size four-poster bed sits beside a wood-burning stove, large windows frame the River Erne, and outside a private hot tub overlooks the water. The jetty is just steps away for a morning swim, a spot of fishing, or to watch the boats go by.
Set right on the river, the cabin is made for easy, unhurried stays. Film nights, late breakfasts, time in the hot tub, and long stretches of doing very little all make sense here.
Comfortable seating, wool blankets, and the wood-burning stove make evenings here easy to sink into, with the projector screen pulling down for a film night when you feel like staying in.
The kitchenette is set up for light, easy cooking, breakfast, a simple supper, or something on the BBQ outside. If you would rather head out, Belturbet’s cafés and pubs are only a few minutes away.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, with a separate WC.
Outside, the private deck and hot tub sit above the river, with the jetty just below. Bikes are included, and kayaks, boats, and fishing rods are available on site.
Guests have full private use of the cabin, deck, and hot tub. The shared jetty is just steps from the door, and on-site parking is included.
Days here can be as quiet or as full as you want them to be, fishing from the jetty, heading out by row boat on the Erne, or making your way towards Crom for a picnic on the estate. Belturbet is only a few minutes away for pubs, cafés, and river walks, while Enniskillen is close enough for an easy run over the border for shops, cafés, and a browse.
There is plenty within easy reach too, from Killykeen Forest Park and Turbet Island to Marble Arch Caves, the Cuilcagh boardwalk, Florence Court, and the wider Fermanagh lakelands. Around the property, guests are welcome to wander through the orchard and kitchen garden, and the river is a lovely spot for birdwatching, with swans, herons, and kingfishers regularly seen along the water. Corleggy, home of the famous Cavanbert cheese, is nextdoor.
Although we love our furry friends - the cabin is unsuitable for pets.
