How does the Holidu rating system work?

Guests rate their overall stay on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest. The overall property rating is the average of all individual scores submitted. You can also rate specific categories, such as location, cleanliness, description accuracy, and value for money. You are welcome to add comments about your stay and the type of trip you took, such as family, couple, or solo.

Who can leave a review?

Only guests who booked and completed a stay through Holidu can leave a review. You can post your review anonymously, or use your first name and the first initial of your last name. If you booked through a partner website, that website's review terms and conditions apply to your review.

Can I edit or delete my review?

Yes, but changes must be requested through our Customer Service team. Contact them if you want to edit or delete a review you submitted through Holidu.

Which reviews does Holidu display?

Holidu shows reviews from both Holidu guests and trusted partner websites so that you get a complete picture of a property. You may see individual written reviews with scores, aggregated ratings from multiple guests, and details such as travel party type or country of origin.

How are reviews sorted?

Reviews are sorted by the date of booking and by whether they include written text. Some filters, such as guest type or rating score, may also be available. For fairness, negative reviews below a certain score are shown only when a property has at least two reviews.

What makes a review acceptable?

We want every review to be genuine, respectful, and helpful. Positive and negative opinions are both welcome. Reviews should focus on honest, travel-related feedback and original experiences from real guests that help other travellers.

What is not allowed in a review?

Reviews must not include any of the following:

• References to illegal activity
• Politically or religiously sensitive remarks
• Promotional content or external links
• Personal details, such as email addresses, phone numbers, or names
• Profanity, hate speech, threats, or violent content
• Fake or spam content
• Impersonation of another person
• Reviews written by hosts, or incentivised reviews
