How do I activate or deactivate Holidu Protect?

You can activate Holidu Protect for each property individually. Log in to your Holidu Host account, open the property configuration, and go to Pricing & Protection. Click Configure in the "Protect your Property" section, accept the Terms & Conditions, and click "Activate Holidu Protect." Once activated, the protection applies to all future bookings at that property.

How to activate Holidu Protect step by step

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and go into the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

2. Click on Pricing & Protection in the property settings. Then click Configure in the section "Protect your Property."

   

3. Read through the information and accept the Terms & Conditions.

   

4. Click on "Activate Holidu Protect." You will see a confirmation that Holidu Protect was activated successfully.

   

After confirming, Holidu Protect is immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you had security deposits in place, they will be deactivated.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

To deactivate Holidu Protect for a property, go back to the property configuration, open Pricing & Protection, and find the Holidu Protect section. Select the option to deactivate the service for that property. If you cannot find this option, contact the Holidu Customer Happiness Team for help.
