If you have a duplicated property listing on Booking.com, you can close it by removing all room types or units from that property in the Booking.com Extranet. Once every room or unit is deleted, the duplicate no longer has active units and stops appearing as a bookable property.

Before You Start

Make sure you are removing the duplicate listing, not your active property. Deleting rooms from the wrong property can affect your live bookings and availability. Check the property name, address, and ID before you make any changes.

Step-by-Step: Removing a Duplicated Property

  1. Log in to the Booking.com Extranet. Go to admin.booking.com and sign in with your credentials.
  2. Select the duplicate property and open Room details. From the top menu, select the Property tab, choose the property you want to close, and then select Room details. Depending on your account view, this may appear as Property layout.
  3. Find the room or unit to remove. Review the list of room types and locate the first room or unit you want to delete.
  4. Delete the room or unit. Select the option to delete the room or unit, then confirm the deletion. The room or unit will be removed from the property page.
  5. Repeat for all remaining room types. Continue deleting rooms or units until the property has no active units left.
  6. Retry publishing in Holidu (if applicable). If you manage your listings through Holidu, go to the Distribution channel tab of your property. In the error message shown for the Booking.com channel, click the link that lets you retry publishing ("click here"). It may take a few minutes for your property to update on Booking.com.

Important: Upcoming Reservations

If a room or unit has upcoming reservations, the Delete option will not be available. You will only see Edit or Upload photos. You cannot permanently delete a room or unit until all upcoming reservations have been fulfilled and guests have checked out.
