Holidu needs the Land Registration Number (LRN) for every private host we handled tax payments for in the previous fiscal year. This number is required to issue the Certificazione Unica (CU), an official Italian tax document. You can find your LRN in your property deed, on the Revenue Agency website, in your Visura Catastale, or on your CIN certificate, and you add it in the Holidu Host App under Property Information.

Why does Holidu need my Land Registration Number (LRN)?

To follow new tax regulations, Holidu must collect the Land Registration Number (LRN) from all private hosts for whom we handled tax payments in the previous fiscal year. We will continue to require it in the following years. This number is required to issue the Certificazione Unica (CU), an official tax document.

Providing your LRN helps us meet legal requirements smoothly.

Who needs to add the LRN?

Every private host who received at least one confirmed (and not cancelled) booking in the previous fiscal year, and for whom Holidu acted as taxpayer, needs to add the LRN.

Note: Hosts who have ended their cooperation with Holidu but still received at least one confirmed booking are also required to add the land references.

  • For multi-units, complete the process for each unit under the "Unit information" section.

When do I need to add the LRN?

We need your Land Registration Number for the next CU statement, which we must prepare by March 6, 2025. Please add it as soon as possible, preferably by February 23, 2025.

What happens if I don't add the LRN by the deadline?

Without the Land Registration Number, the tax declaration for your property or properties that we submit to the Italian Tax Authority will be incomplete. Holidu cannot be held liable for any consequences this may have for you.

I already gave you my CIN. Why do you also need the LRN?

The CIN is a mandatory license number that all properties in Italy must have to rent short-term. The Land Registration Number is a unique identification number assigned to every property. You can find it in several documents you may already have. It is needed to issue the CU declaration (Certificazione Unica) in compliance with the law.

I already added the LRN in the Holidu Host App a few weeks ago. Why are you contacting me again?

The format you entered earlier was not valid or did not match the required format. Please enter it again, using the correct format.

What if I don't have all five numbers required?

Every property registered in Italy must have a "Codice Comune," a "Foglio," and a "Particella." Some properties may have no value in the "Sezione Urbana" and "Subalterno" fields. In that case, you can leave these fields blank. Please check your documents carefully to enter the correct references.
